• Historical timelines with interactive pieces to.learn about all the different cultures who’ve made an im-pact in our specific area. Learning can be fun. Would tie in the Bowles historic house history too.
• I would rather see solar lighting that lights up only when people are present…we should start follow-ing Dark Sky Protocol and stop lighting up every inch of spaces thinking that it will make us “Safer”! We should use the resources and abilities of beavers and their dams for water storage, flood control, habitat restoration instead of a bunch of man-made and bull-dozed “Improvements'”

Other:
• Tennis courts. Westminster has no group of 3 courts. Can’t host any USTA league matches.
• I’d like to see a Safe Outdoor Space, such as the ones maintained by Colorado Village Collaborative (e.g. the one previously at Regis University), be installed somewhere, perhaps along with the fire training tower. Unhoused people have been along the creek and railroad tracks for a long time and this would give them someplace to be.
• Tennis
• True natural components such as plants, maybe benches, etc. with bird viewing, animal viewing, rather than a bunch of artificial antics!

• All the ones shown look pretty good!
• We need better signage to indicate where you can get by using the trail system. Currently we have 1 sign that points in the wrong direction towards Downtown Westminster. To encourage users to explore the trail network we need bold clear signage that identifies destinations and distances – Boulder, Westminster, Golden and Denver are all reachable from the trail. Take a look at the Mary Carter Greenway for an example of this done well. Also, the connection to the new Downtown Westminster is… Awful. The crossing at 72nd and Bradburn is difficult and dangerous. While it may not be in the current scope of this project, I feel that considering modifying the current bike infrastructure at the northwest end of England Park would be great for connecting Little Dry Creek to the 36 bike way and Big Dry Creek.
